JUSTIN ROBERT LEES is a Video Director, Technologist  currently based out of San Francisco, CA.

Justin is a storyteller at heart, driven by a deep desire to understand the inspiration behind every story. As a keen observer of the world around him, he finds vision through a genuine sense of connection with others. He brings these visions to life through compelling video productions and innovative 2D/3D media.

Currently, Justin is a Spatial Media Producer on Apple's Vision Pro product engineering team, exploring new media possibilities within spatial computing technologies. He has also carried out nonprofit client work, producing content for organizations like Planned Parenthood, Eureka Recycling, and the University of Minnesota College of Design. His passion project includes co-producing the College of Design's annual senior fashion show. He has previously worked as an editor, working on national campaigns for clients such as Subaru and Walmart.

At the intersection of technology and modern filmmaking, Justin continually finds creative approaches to production and post. With media being consumed across more channels than ever before, he enjoys challenging the boundaries of how visual stories can unfold and interact with viewers. Emerging platforms like spatial media, virtual reality and live streaming are especially exciting for their ability to create new worlds inside immersive environments and through real-time connections. Justin has collaborated with leaders in these fields, like REM5 Virtual Reality Labs to envision future directions for engaging storytelling. Now through his current role at Apple, he is directly supporting the development of production tools and workflows, securing official patents, to seamlessly sculpt dynamic content at scale for visionOS and industry-first Spatial Computing experiences.
